In a few words
To what extent is it conceivable to bring to life in a 200 m² café what works on the four hectares of Grands Voisins? Cohabitation of varied audiences, free cultural programming, encouragement of voluntary involvement … Yes We Camp takes up this challenge with the RÊV Café, opened in April 2018, on the Place de la République in Montreuil. To support this attempt, we have set up a dedicated structure, in association with Remake (the innovation unit of REI Habitat) and the Quatorze collective. RÊV is both a lunchtime canteen, a weekend brunch destination, a support place for the organization of events in the public square, and a space available for various programs during the day and in the evening.
We seek to develop shared ownership of the place, particularly for cultural programming, the organization of workshops and evening cooking.

The little story
When the CAN final was broadcast on Place de la République in July 2019, more than 150 people attended. In the middle of the game, there was an internet cut and we had to share the connection with Estelle’s cell phone — employee of the RÊV — to have internet and continue broadcasting … The spectators shouted “come on Estelle, go Estelle »All in a family and festive atmosphere to encourage us. In the end, we had the fastest cleanup ever thanks to the people there who helped us out!
